Our Plan
AWARD TRUST’s current action plan
Ten commitments that guide our day-to-day work with children, youth, women and the elderly across Cuddalore District.
Guide the young in the right path
Mentoring and steady presence for children and youth navigating difficult circumstances.
Provide skill training for employment
Vocational and skill-building sessions aimed squarely at real job opportunities.
Extra study classes after school hours
Especially for children in rural areas who need support beyond the regular school day.
Organised games for children
Separate, age-appropriate activities for younger and older children alike.
Connect vulnerable groups to government aid
Helping widows, elderly people and those with mental health challenges access the support they are entitled to.
Honest guidance on smoking, alcohol & drugs
Direct, practical conversations about the real consequences of substance use.
Encourage reading & lifelong learning
Promoting newspapers, weeklies and magazines as a habit that leads to better-informed, better-led lives.
Strengthen family life
Encouraging hard work, honest livelihoods, and family relationships built on care and good example.
HIV/AIDS prevention, education & support
Ongoing awareness, care and support work embedded across our other programmes.
Sustainable, traditional agriculture
Helping farmers work with methods suited to the land, not against it.
Why it’s written down
A plan, not a slogan
Each of these commitments ties back to a specific, ongoing programme — see how they show up in the field on our Activities page, or meet the people and institutions who help fund them on Project Partners.
